I didn't think it was like Calvin and Hobbes. The author of Calvin and Hobbes mostly uses his characters to make points. Thicker than Water seems to be more about the characters than anything. I like Eddy's personality and how much tension there is between him and his sister. I also like how you use Eddy's real dad. He makes homophobes look stupid. Then he makes them seem even stupider when you get to see his thoughts. Great cartoons.
